Each new watch is powered by the Calibre 2236, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, and equipped with a patented Syloxi hairspring and Paraflex shock absorber inside the movement. The Syloxi hairspring is 10 times more accurate than a conventional hairspring and the high-performance Paraflex shock absorber increases the movement’s shock resistance. In addition, the automatic movement owns a paramagnetic nickel-phosphorus escapement wheel. The new movement not only increases precision, but also provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.
